Jenny grew up amongst animals and with dogs and puppies around her. At the age of 16 she bought her own first dog, a cocker spaniel. She soon had 3 cocker spaniels, was competing at dog shows in the north of England, and had her first litters.
Since 1988 she has been dedicated to Flatcoated retrievers, and is actively involved in all aspects of the breed.
Jenny started her Ronevorg kennel at the age of 16, the distinctive Ronevorg name derived from a family surname. Today Jenny is passionate about her breed Flatcoated Retrievers, which she shows, judges and works, as well as helping other people to get involved in the breed.
Jenny was appointed to the Board of Directors at The Kennel Club in June of 2020. She resigned in 2022 to enable her to continue showing at Crufts. She remains close with The Kennel Club, and has produced a video for their “Responsible Puppy Rearing” initiative.
Jenny is proud to be a Brand Ambassador for YuMove, and be part of their journey to help keep pets active for life. YuMOVE produce supplements for dogs to improve their bones, joints, skin and coats.
